Educational research in the present decade will seek to understand gaps and legacies after the pandemic period. As a result of the resilience of education professionals, the ability to work in a network is identified, articulating institutional efforts and personal initiatives, in the continued training of educators, to handle the digital skills necessary for Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE) during the coronavirus pandemic. COVID-19. This dossier presents institutional initiatives from different perspectives, such as the ProEDU Online Repository in its potentiality on digital curation actions during and after the ERE. Likewise, it presents studies on the digital skills of Brazilian educators and institutional initiatives such as PlaforEDU, a Digital Platform for continuing education for education professionals through Open and Massive Online Courses (MOOC).
