Transmedia literacy on UEG TV
an analysis of digital praxiologies

This study is based on its relevance involving transmedia, digital and visual literacies, since these literacies facilitate the understanding of social interactions in the university academic community. The construction of this study presents results through the analysis of dialogues seeking to point out elements of the praxiologies used in the transmission of content through interactions in chats. The research was inspired by the following problem, “What types of literacy were used by the participants in the round tables at the UEG Teaching, Research and Extension Congress?”. In this sense, this work aimed to investigate the types of literacy identified in the dialogues in these virtual meetings entitled “Mesas Redondas” on the UEG TV channel, taking into account a transmedia perspective with the intention of analyzing digital and visual literacy skills in live broadcasts. promoted by the “Teaching, Research and Extension Congress” on UEG TV during the period 2020 and 2021. Data analysis is based on content analysis using the Youtube Comment Search tools and the Wordclouds website, in order to collect and analyze chat interactions during that period subjectively. In this way, the research approaches the qualitative method of an exploratory, interpretative and subjective nature, with a transdisciplinary approach of round tables, whose nature is applied in order to investigate the practices and types of literacies, which were observed to promote dialogues in audiovisual transmissions of the analyzed lists. The results present a set of transmedia skills for interactions within chats.
