The article examines the social representations of education in the post-pandemic future, projected by some educators in 2020 and 2021, considering the changes in school education that occurred during the covid-19 pandemic. Rhetorical analysis is adopted to expose social representations. The results indicate the prevalence of the desire for a school that values cooperation and conviviality to the detriment of competence and technique.
