Project-Based Learning for Audiovisual Communication: Lux & Photo

The article aims to present the experience carried out through an educational innovation project at the Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid during the 2022-2023 academic year. With the intention of developing a project-based learning, and doing it as a philosophy that permeates various subjects (KJERSDAM; ENEMARK, 1994), it was carried out, in collaboration with various subjects of the communication degree, the elaboration of the first photographic magazine of the faculty. The main objective is to demonstrate its validity as a didactic resource for Project-Based Learning within the audiovisual environment. For this, we implemented a professional project created through an educational innovation project accepted by the Francisco de Vitoria University with which the PBL was carried out, together with the transversality of different works from different courses within the Audiovisual Communication career. from the Faculty of Communication of the Francisco de Vitoria University in Madrid, Spain. As a result, the first issue of a specialized photographic magazine was printed, which was part of the firms and students of design, layout, photography and digital retouching. Given its success in terms of teaching, the direction of the career has determined to raffle a second number for the next academic year, improving and promoting the didactics of this methodology.
