The articulation of DigCompEdu and active methodologies for the promotion of educators' digital skills

The European Digital Competence Framework for Educators, or simply, DigCompEdu sets out 22 digital competences that are expected to be proficiencies in 21st century educators. This article demonstrates that such competences, when combined with the use of active methodologies, produce a powerful binomial to impact student learning.
