This study aimed to analyze students' perception, through an electronic questionnaire, of the Hands-on Environmental Management course in Distance Learning, in order to assess their understanding of the scope of the discipline and its contribution to their professional development. Approximately half of the students grasped the comprehensive nature of the practical discipline, which goes beyond the discussed topic and contributes to other skills required for the education of an environmental manager.
