This article aims to describe an experience of hijacking in a virtual class using a videoconference platform in the context of emergency education during the Covid-19 pandemic in a Federal Institution of Education and Technology. In the text it will be presented the results of the bibliographic research, an experience report of one and actions taken against this problem of lack of security in remote classes. Cyber crimes like this can seriously affect the victims involved, both teachers and students, interfering in basic aspects essential for any learning: safety and well-being. As education is one of the ways to build a nation's future, it is expected that care for virtual teaching environments will be part of public educational policies.
