We present an Open Pedagogical Resource available to primary and secondary school teachers with the aim of contributing to the design of solutions that allow them to improve their teaching practice, using digital technologies in the field of assessment. This resource arose from a collective effort to overcome the difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Its conception is based on the research developed in the Laboratory of Distance Education and eLearning (LE@D) in the area of digital assessment of learning. We seek to i) present some key ideas regarding the ethical dimension of assessment; ii) approach the assessment of competences in the context of an assessment culture; iii) present the ideas that supported the structuring of the resource, taking into account the assessment of competences; iv) explain a model for selecting suitable technologies for digital assessment; iv) provide the design used to design the various examples of assessment activities.
