HIV/AIDS on screen: development of video lesson in Libras for bilingual health communication

Due to the vulnerability of the deaf population in relation to infection by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), the pandemic situation and the reaffirmation of the relevance of the Internet, the objective is to analyze the concept of a learning object in the form of video lesson in Libras about HIV/AIDS, wich is avaliable in an educational repository. It’s a descriptive qualitative study based on the construction of a lesson plan based on bibliographic review, script, recording/editing, qualitative appraisal and publication of the tool. The video lesson has 17.42 minutes, in Libras, with subtitles and audio in Portuguese, covering the blocks of the pre-established plan; and is avaliable at https://repositorio.instituicao.edu.br. The design of the tool followed a plan aimed at the particularities of the target audience and the theme, reaching the objective of the study. It’s expected that this tool will contribute to society and instigate dialogues about sex education.
