Abstract

This work socializes the experiences of a university extension action, at the Distance Education Center at the State University of Santa Catarina. The MOOC Dialogues on Digital Culture and Teacher Education was offered in 2018 and 2019 and aimed to provide opportunities for theoretical reflection and knowledge production on digital culture and its implications for teacher education. With the target audience of undergraduates and teachers from public schools, the methodological organization involved readings, videos, a discussion forum, appropriation of digital technological resources and self-assessment. The results demonstrate that the objectives were achieved and that the MOOC contributed to the establishment of dialogues on digital culture and teacher education.
