Abstract

This article represents the construction, validation and evaluation of an evaluation instrument for digital media and technologies in the EAD. In the elaboration, we will look for authors in the literature that will address the topic, and, in each one of them, form selected evaluative categories capable of offering support to the planning of the use of these technologies. These categories are broken down into indicators that originate the assessment instrument to be used at the time of choosing media and technologies. This instrument, subsequently validated by educational doctors and endorsed by professional specialists in the area, is suggestive, and can be expanded or refined. As a result of the evaluation of the instrument, the utility and relevance for the evaluation of digital media and technologies in the distance course will be revealed.

Master in Assessment by the Faculdade Cesgranrio, post-graduate in Planning, Implementation and Management of EaD by the Fluminense Federal University (UFF 2011-2013), in Instructional Design for Virtual EaD by the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI 2011-2012), in Administration and School supervision from Cândido Mendes University (AVM 2009-2011) and Bachelor of Portuguese-Spanish Letters from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ 1997-2003). Member of the research group Avaliação em EAD: tendências contemporâneas, from the Faculdade Cesgranrio. Experience in managing distance education projects and pedagogical solutions mediated by new technologies. EaD specialist and consultant.

Graduated in Education from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1987), Mestre in Education from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1976) and Graduated in Pedagogy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (1964). Adjunct Professor of the Faculdade de Educação da UFRJ from 1972 to 1994, acting in the Department of Didactics and as Coordinator of the Pedagogy Course. Adjunct Director of Graduation between 1990 and 1993. Adjunct Professor of the Estácio de Sá University in the Post-Graduation Program in Education in the period 2000-Feb/2014. Adjunct Professor of the Professional Master's Course in the Assessment of the CESGRANRIO Foundation, as of July/2014. She published 40 articles in newspapers, 16 book chapters, 4 books and 55 complete works in event years. She guided 57 Master's and 4 PhD dissertations. She participated in 126 Job Completion Benches in Mestrado or Doutorado. Since 2002, she has coordinated 5 research projects and currently participates in the coordination of 1 project in the Assessment area. I have experience in the area of Education, with an emphasis on Education and Information and Communication Technologies, Cyberculture, Distance Education and Online Education, working mainly on the following topics: education and information and communication technologies, distance education, online education, cyberculture, teacher training, teaching-learning and didactics.
